Pollutant concentrations in and around Baku Harbor
Back to the article

Concentrations of trace metals and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in representative samples of sediment. Offshore pollutant concentrations are comparable to those in Galveston Bay. In Baku Harbor, on the other hand, concentrations are significantly higher. (Glaveston Bay data was taken from near the head of Trinity Bay and reported by R. Carr in Galveston Bay National Estuary Program Publication No. 30, 1993.)
